Isn't MTI what you get when you don't want to be another Skater at a Poker run. The only step to go up after MTI is maybe a Platinum

Post #4 I believe partially answered your question. If your a racer who wants a new boat, chances are you won't be driving a Skater next season.

After visiting Peter's shop I'd take a Skater over almost any boat. Sure he's not the fastest but how many builders keep the boat in the mold for nearly a month. There is a lot to be said by low volume builders that take their time to make sure everthing is perfect.

How about resale, skater may produce 20 boat's per year, good for resale
