I was freakin amazed to see that 27ft (25???) Baja run 109 mph. That's unreal. Also saw an old '79 Scarab at the Shooters docks completed with swivel bucket seats, teak wood interior and cabin windows. The thing had 540s in it and ran high 80s last I saw. Cools stuff.

Thank you for the compliment ,,alot of hard work went into it to get it to that point and we plan on some more. They got me at 89.9 makes me wish we put 110 in it instead of the 92 octane shell. So next year it my go mid 90's and have a slightly different paint scheme, this one is three years old now.

That Baja is a 25' H2x and yes it does fly.. He had about 10hrs on the new motor and drive before he made that run.. It has been termed a "Rocket"..

Brian and Dad congratulations , we know all the hard work that you put into the Scarab to get her to purr like that, was it as rough as the Chicago Poker Run???

Dick is it legal for a 25' baja to go that fast pretty exciting stuff i bet By the way we are running great thanks to you
