I received this from Rob (Strip) yesterday (Monday) 9:11 AM after I emailed and PM'd him. That's the last I heard.
We should be ok . We are in the middle of the state it should die down some before it hits us . we will see?
Thanks
Rob
Tom Gurley (Thunderstruck) emailed and said they made out OK.

Just spoke to Rob via cell (Strip Poker 388). Here is the latest.
Rob and family OK. Lots of damage but they are just coming online with power. I-10 very bad.
He believes Open 72 and family evacuated to Texas and are OK.
He has been trying to reach:
Racer X6
Jassman
without any success as yet.

Hey everyone, thanks for your concern. The damage is unbelievable. My girlfriend, son and I made it out before the storm hit, but we have lost everything that we own. We took only a few pictures and important papers and left everything else behind. Last report was that our house was under 10+ feet of water. We lived just east of New Orleans in St. Bernard Parish. Don't know when we can leave Panama City Florida or where to go when we leave. Staying in a hotel for now. Not sure about the shop, but it doesn't look good, since Slidell was hit very hard.
