I guess I should feel "priveledged" that he gives me the responsibilty of detailing the boat. But actually, I don't mind waxing the boat at all. He does all the engine work, I guess I should contribute by keeping her clean.

Dee even cleans my boat on occasion!! Went away on a business trip last year, came back, and the boat was detailed..

My wife waxed the boat once when we first met.. She thought it was going to be fun. AFter we finished the deck, I told her we still had the hull sides to do! She's never waxed the boat since!

In her defense, she helps clean when we get back to the dock after a day out on the water.

My new motto is; have the boat professionally detailed in the spring and throw a coat of wax on half way thru.
