I'm running NGK's in mine and have all summer. Doesn't seem to load up in the no wake zones like the Champions used to. I'll have to find the number for you. Went with the iridium tipped too, and from what I understand, you really can't foul them out.

Im not a big Champion fan myself but I havent been able to find a cross reference for this plug. Id be interested to see what Jordy comes back with.

OK, I had to look around to find the receipt (easier than pulling the cover and shrouds off, but I've been running an NGK BR8HIX (iridium) plug all Summer and haven't had a single problem with them. I go them at sparkplugs.com for under $7.00 a piece. Put 60 something hours on the boat without a hiccup. Seemed to run better too from the first time I installed them and motored out of the no wake zone.

This is the NGK I am running BZ7HS-10. I did a search on screamandfly last august and this was what they recommended also. I am running 300 promax's, not sure how different that would be to the X's.
