You can get a nice 24 footer for that kind of many. Really that's all you going to need in Minnesota. Where do you plan to boat? We run a bunch of boats like this on the Mississippi river (pools 4,5 and 5A) mostly. I know a bunch of other up on the St Croix. Let me know if I can be of any help.

I would check into insurance as well, you may be shocked at the cost of a 26'+ boat with over 500hp at 24years old.
Sorry to sound negative but....
Also as stated in earlier post's the money you are looking to spend won't buy much more then a money pit.
