i suggest you go out for an ocean test with jo on a pantera 28' single :drink: just awesome.they have a new 28' SR model twin stepp in the works .this is a drawing posted on their website with more information listed there.

Looking at the side of the outdrive, the pipe would be vertical directly above the back 1/3 of the prop with the bottom cut into the anti-cavitation plate of the outdrive. Then it would be supported by some brackets off the top cap of the drive.

The ones I've seen are a heavy rubber hose, like a radiator or hydraulic suction line. Something pretty stiff - i.e. probably has some wire in it.

Anyone tried a Y2K with a Blackhawk? I assume it wouldn't work as well as a B1 because it couldn't carry the nose.

Went for a ride on the new 29 Activator with a 950 in it today.(WOW) It was snotty out. We did 100 in complete control. No single will beat this new boat in rough water. Nothing! Pantera and Superboat are not in the same league with this boat.

I think a standart Bravo III woud broke in a few hours. It's design was not intended for performance either... Lots of mph loss...

And Dave M has it bang on! Drive in neutral position (depending on X dim), and work the tabs to fly level. Because my X dim on my Sun is rather reserved, I use some positive trim. But when it gets real rough, I go close to neutral.

I believe a dual prop out drive, no matter the make, will slow you down! They are good for planing, and cruising, not top speed.

I would rather sacrifice a few mph's so the ride is always safe... In real rough conditions, 70 down to 50's is'nt that a big sacrifice anyway? For sure, I can do 70... Will I beat the sh...it out of my boat.... Yep... Do I want to?... Nop...
