Like Tantrum and Dave M say, if your landing on your side los, your not running your boat proper. I have had my Sun for 4 years now, and I can count on one hand how many times I ever landed on my side.
Reading the water and making wheel adjustments will keep you from landing on your side.
And I FULLY recomend the K planes, 280's for your size, just like mine.

Probably not running in the same waters Jeff. It does happen a few times when I push the boat to it's limits. When things are getting serious, If I wanted to, I would run in the 50's without that issue. Full throttle, nasty 3-5's no matter how experienced a pilot is, IT WILL bang with a single if not taking extreme caution on each wake you come across at high speeds. It's my third boat and I got over 1 000 hrs of experience. I don't think I am such a dummy pilot
What's the dimensions of those 280's?

the long and short of it is ...25 foot boat....5 foot waves and I have been on JS's home waters and had a bouncy ride to the extreme in GLH's 42 Tiger. The water is usually real confused ontop of rollers due to winds shifting around between the mountains.

What's the roughest/biggest water you've had your 25' cat on? How big of rollers? How big of chop?

It will run over 3 to 4 foot choppy crap no problem. 3 to 4 foot rollers if they're close together and you throttle the heck out of it. Any bigger and they just become launching ramps.
