Gotta hand it to OL, dont show up at any races all year, contribute nothing to the sport of offshore racing, (except the great effort by greg quirk and matt to win P2, congratulations) then have a bunch of poker run yokels whine about how they weren't allowed to race at the 11th hour. I didn't hear Nigel Hook whining, he put his boat in and went for the gusto! He like Reggie fountain is what keeps offshore alive. And let's not forget John Haggin of AMF and his monumental effort for the sport! ( He races his OL !!) And gave me an OL jacket i wear with pride even though I'm a Fountain Racer. So quit your crying and step up to the plate, don't matter what your driving you will be a racer!!!

So you guys are saying there needs to be NO logical/legal reason what so ever for him to not allow OL to run, just a personal decision? Doesn't that seem a little far fetched from an outsiders point of view?
I'm just having a hard time buying that, but then stranger things have been known to happen.

will OL run in the super v class with 525 efi or with blowers in unlimited class ? it will be good for the sport to get more manufactures involved like the factory classes from a few years ago. i am excited for 2006 season.
