Re: Boats in St. Maarten
A friend of mine should be arriving there monday after crossing the atlantic in his new winter home. He bought a completely custom built 60 foot by 24 foot sailing catamaran for use as a mobile winter home. Picked it up in the med a few months ago, shook it down there and is currently crossing the atlantic. I know its a sail bote and I rib the hell out of him for it but he does have a Velocity and a 130mph STV here at home so hes not all thjat bad.

I was in St Martin on my HoneyMoon Five years ago. We chartered a 38 Top Gun for the day when we were there. Do not remeber the name but It was docked at one of the Marina's on the French side. I believe it was in Marigot?????
Can't wait we are going back in April for our five year aniversary....

I lived there for 6 months. One of my buddies owns several jetski rental businesses. We used to race around the entire island. He holds the record: 43 minutes!
I miss that place.
I miss the beaches.
I miss the warm turquoise waters.
I miss the food.
I miss the mountains.
I miss the ............well, you get the picture!
