But therein lies the beauty- only go where you're interested.

I go to the GD, Bilge, Tech, Cig and Apache forums. That's just about it. I'll duck into towing every once in awhile. If I have an insurance question, I'd go there but I'm glad that GD isn't clogged with insurance questions (or the newest OSO advertiser/insurance agent of the week)

Tech works great- except for the beer budget section. It's hard enough getting people to post in the right place when the forums are clearly marked. There's often no rhyme or reason on why something is posted there. As far as racing and clubs- no interest there for me but again, I'm glad the forums I visit aren't clogged with that content.

As far as inter-club repartee- isn't it enough that it's been replaced with the mindless banter we have now?

Stecz, Dollabill,Cashbar all have no boat but always have something to contribute.

OSOSteve had a good thing going and with him around it felt like someone actually cared, with IB it lost that feeling.......
I'm inbetween boats. I moved and it's just not the time. Probly more boats than 99% of the members. I was on a 3 a year pace for a while.

Bill, wasn't bashing at all, just showing how some of the more active guys on here currently don't have a boat. You have had nicer boats than me so I can't play that card out!

It's cool. I agree. Its the love of the sport that brings everyone together. Even for the guys that don't have boats or are between them, most of us ride as a "crew" so the experiences are enjoyed as a group most days.

I'm really getting the itch though. This my first season since '99 w/o a boat.........................Killin me!
