Is Jake Trotter still alive? Went to school with his son. If memory serves me, back in the late sixties, when the largest size outboards were all right at 125 horsepower(with everyone having their own personal strong feelings about which outboard brand is better than the other), Jake campaigned an offshore boat that had three outboards on the back...(1) Evinrude, (1) Mercury & (1) Chrysler, in that order!

Here is a photo that Billy Martin gave me, its him in a purple 27 Magnum Sport with a single engine racing the Miami to Nassau race in 1970
