I have been to the show 2 of the last 3 years and always rented a car. In the past I have only used the car to get from the airport (Ft Lauerdale) and back, and poss 1 other time. Here is the question, with the price of the rental parking ect. it just dosen't seem worth the price. We are staying at the Best Western in South Beach, will a cab take you from the airport to the south beach area??? poss. public transportation??? or does anybody know of a car service that will just take us back and forth??? anybody have a connection with a limo co??? any ideas???? Everything else is booked airlines hotel. this is the last thing...BZ

p.s this year the hotel dosen't even have valet parking...and it seems like the car will be more trouble than it's worth..

Take a CAB from the airport and any other destination around MIAMI. Less trouble and cheaper.

will a regular cab take you from Ft Lauerdale airport to south beach though????

about $70 one way. Fly in to Miami. A little more but worth it.

You can take one of those shuttle vans...about 20-25 dollars. I fly into Miami and get a cab to SoBe and walk to the show every day to get the blood flowing again.
