Default Miami travel info needed...

Hi all. Heading to Miami for a long weekend. Looking for suggestions where to stay in south beach. On water close to nightlife. Thanks.

The Beacon Hotel is a boutique hotel right on Ocean Drive.

Great little place, quiet after midnight and the restaurant is dynamite!

I stay at the Winterhaven.
Nicely restored Deco Hotel on the North end of Ocean Dr. It has a nice veranda and little Martini Bar in the lobby. It is on the quieter end of Ocean but only a couple block walk to the hot spots. Best of both worlds in my opinion.
The rooms are small but nice with period decor and actually quite romantic.

This guy has a nicce studio apartment in the Shelbourne hotel. I've stayed there and it is really nice. Couple blocks to SoBe. Perfect if traveling alone or with another person.

And how are the ladies in the lobby?
