Troutly,
I think you're right. He actually started looking at the 575 Merc package, but the Volvo 600/DPX was quite a bit less money.

Kentz I own a 380 Avenger with 500hp EFI's, running 30inch lab finished props. It runs 82 mph even on the GPS! We have 2 kills of 575 SCI's of a 382 fast tech here in Cincinnati, just ask Nick of Team Formula who hangs out in Four Seasons Marina, how the "BLONDES PREFERRED" sucked him up

Wildman1 - yes we know each other, I'm two spots away from you (34 PQ). I didn't realize that the factory 38 had the new merc integrated whatchmacallit (stand-off box), it did look slick though!

Kentz, yea I seen them in person. PQ38 factory Poker Run boat was here at the Cincinnati Poker Run last weekend in July. That boat ran 81.6 on the GPS, it was a sweet looking setup. We took on a 355 Sonic with 575's and was able to keep even with him but couldn't get around him. We kept running away at the Lake Cumberland Poker Run of a 34PQ with 502's. We played with him all the way from Burnside to Conley Bottoms.
