Mild power is better for resale if you care about things like that. Ask any broker how hard it is to sell a boat with monster engines.

but if you keep a boat very long, then it is going to need new paint and interior eventually too. if i had extra money id keep it :D

Well 1000hp per side being mild is news to me! :D
But, bottom line I would absolutely, positively, without a doubt choose a sleeper. BIG power and bare minimum everything else. |

Spend every penny on the power first and do the rest later. You can never get enough hp and speed.
