florida powerboat club, they have a dedicated section on this forum. When boating the the intracoastal and St. John's be very wary of the Manatee zones, especially this time of year.

both you'll find their site under the links area at the home page. I probably will join because I want to do some poker runs and stuff, I'm in the process of buying a Fountain.
Question: your email addy says your last name is Fountain yourself, then why a Scarab?

My brother "Jeff Fountain" and I were there and Jeff knows him well. So I said "what kind of deals are there for family" His reply was ... "Wayne there are lots of good USED Fountains out there" :-)

Daytona Poker Run is May 19-21 this year. Starts at Caribbean Jacks and runs to St Augustine and back. Very cool event and about 40 boats showed up last year. I have a 2nd home in Ormond By the Sea and run my boat 5-6 times a year up there. Not too many go fast boats up in that area but I have seen a few Cigarettes down by Ponce Inlet.

I never see much in the way of performance boats in the Daytona area, unless the poker run is in town. On the St John's, sometimes you will see some, and other times none at all. I have definetly seen more performance boats on the river than at Daytona. Silver Glen is a nice destination.
