How sad is this?
 

as most of you know I am not 6 days divorced now. I took the day off work today because I have pink eye. On my way home I had a uncontrolable craving for eggos. so I stopped at the store and got the butter etc and the eggos. I got a pack of 10 and screwed up 8 of them. but I did mannage to get to eat 2 of them. How sad is it when you can screw up 8 of 10 eggos? But atleast I can (unlike my ex wife) make water flavored popcicles (ice cubes) with out a resipe :D

You know your from Michigan when:
#1. You can't make Eggos
#2. You brag you can make ice cubes

Got to love it! Sounds like you need a G/F that is multi-talented. We won't venture into what those talents could be. At least able to cook some would help. SwissMiss, eh? That could have some possibilities.

HAHAHAHA that is too funny, sorry to laugh, but its not that hard to operate a toaster...or a toaster oven, depending on your preference...

Boatgirl :D I tried the toaster and one just became limp (that is TO funny) and part of it burnt and the other part stayed soggy. it started smoking now my house smells like burn cinnimon. then I busted out the toaser oven and after a few tries I got to eat a eggo :D :D

I beg to differ, if it doesn't go in microwave, go get fast food. I actually lived in a apt right out of college, when I moved out they commented on how clean the oven/stove was, I said it better be, I never used it. :D

When I was single I couldn't boil water in a blast furnace.
Don't worry, it'll get better.

my ex complained we didn't have a stove. so I went and got a new stove. after 1.5 years of having the stove in the house it has been used 2 times to light a smoke when a lighter could not be located. other than that it has not been touched :D

There's always Pop Tarts. No cooking required. I think they may and enough different flavors to have a different one each day for a week. My personal favorite is chocolate.

Just remember, some of us are jealous. I just got *****ed out on the phone because her gas cap was too tight. You know the kind that clicks so it doesnt get too tight. :rolleyes:

I'll get someone to cook for us when you come down. What do you like, or we could make it easy and what type of resturants do you like?

That's funny. Every guy I know cooks and does it well. In fact more than half do the cooking in the home including my father. :eek:

You're right. I do the vast majority of the cooking in our house. My wife used to be a short-order cook at a Navy base and she taught how to cook. I love to cook. And it doesn't come from a box either most of what I make is done from scratch.

Iggy, maybe that's why I have gained some around the middle since being with my girlfriend. Two cooks in the house. :rolleyes:

Cord: I did just pay my home owners ins. yesterday.. if It was a total loss and I moved into an apt. I could take the remaining $ and get a bigger boat. HMMMM I am off to get poptarts

Coming from an Italian family we NEVER went out to eat. I used to cook for girls when I was single and they loved it, that made it almost a shoe in. :D :D Now I love to cook on the grill. Most of the guys from the toolroom that I work in ,hunt and fish ALOT, so we tend to cook things at work. You should try and start to cook aleast 1 meal a week, then taste the chit you eat at fast food. Think about it ,cook a meal for a girl at your place, your alone with her,WHY go out? :eek: :D :D

Flylevel's right.....A guy that cooks is a good catch! Seriously! LutzParty has always been the main cook around here (and he even looks good in an apron ;) ...i'm gonna get if for that! :D )

And Packin...yeah it's pretty sad that you messed up the eggos, but I'm SURE that there was something wrong with the toaster! ;)

And besides, it sure made for a funny story today. :)

Turn your toaster setting down! If you undercook the Eggo's you can cook them some more. Once burnt however, they're done for.

You're right though. It is sad when you screw up 8 Eggo's! :D

Panic, RAMEN Noodles has got to be man's best friend, breakfast,lunch, and why not dinner, actually consider myself and also considered a GOOD cook, but always have the famous Ramen on hand for a quickie :D :D .

Ya know this is crap........I cook all the time.....and go out to eat......not mcDoanald's crap but nice places and what do I get for it.......surely not what Miss amy says by a good catch.......I get grief.....lots and lots of grief......Hmmmmmm

packin... the easiest thing is.. my meal consist of this


4 hotdogs.. throw in microwave for 2:00 mintues

lay out 4 peices of bread on the counter.

flop the dogs on the bread

throw some cheese, ketchup and ranch dressing..


you are set for a great meal :D :D

I have been a pretty big asshol* for a few months now, seems to work better, I tried the high road route but it gets me no where. for example: the guy that shot my dog. he got off.....my ex wife :mad: I took the high road with her . it got me put @ gun point in my boxers in stupid cold weather.
