It's been discussed a lot and all the engine builders will agree that you have to change some internals before installing a supercharger on the 496's... (Cast internals) So plan on some serious $$$$$$$

Right... That is what I was afraid of... I really don't want to crack those motors open... I am really just looking for some bolt on Noise, with maybe a few MPH I guess...

Looks like the Headers are the first thing to start with... Feels like I'm working on the Mustangs again...haha

3 000$ for a better sound... Is it really worth it?

Good luck, not trying to be discouraging but I think the 496 are just as good as they can be... STOCK!

Raylar seems to have real world results, search the forums, it's been discussed a lot...

If you have mufflers, REMOVE them! You'l find 1-2 mph's and a great sound!

Nope no Mufflers...

Guess it depends how much sound we are talking... And we're really talking $6K since there's twins... But if I got a few more MPH with it, and some Bling (Chrome) could be worth it..

Who knows... I'm just exicted... I'd really just settle for some 70 degree Weather...

You got me... I've only had the boat for 3 weeks, and only went for a 45 minute ride... Although I did hear they were "More" fuel efficient then other motors...

Maybe that means 1MPG instead of 1/2MPG....
