The Senate Transportation Committee reported out an Inexpedient to Legislate report and the full Senate debated the bill on Thursday, March 16, 2006. The Senate voted in support of the committee recommendation with a vote of 15-9. I appreciate your taking the time to let me know your thoughts on the issue and know you will be pleased to hear that HB 162 was defeated.
