Another Dmbazz sail boater. There was one yesterday on the narrow straights of the ICW between Sanibel and Pine Island tacking between markers.
Any commercial vessel has the right of way. A commercial vessel under power would have to yield to a commercial sailboat under sail.
A pleasure sail boat under power is considered a power boat.
The boater on the right always has the right of way. That is why you are to always pass on the right.
The bigger and faster boat only has the right away if they are the boat on the right.
