I almost hate to admit this but last summer the wife and I were sitting on the rear bench seat talking and waiting for some of our friends to join us on their boats.

Boats were moving about on the water and in the distance behind us there was a sail boat. A few minutes later I hear the water slapping and look back over my shoulder to see this 30 + foot sail boat seconds away from running up the back of my boat.

I jump up and start yelling and turn the key on and put my boat in gear and throttle away with him just missing me by inches. My wife was seriously ready to jump.

The dumb A$$ was under power and just not watching where he was going. I called him a few choice words and hand signals to let him know how I felt about his boating skills.

Now that would have been embarrassing getting run over by a blow boat.

Is that a kid sitting in the front of that sailboat? Surely that guy wouldn't bring his son along to drive up under a ferry...............
