Finally got a quote on insurance...

Does this sound right?

28ft Eliminator Eagle 800hp with supercharger

$4,895.00 a year

At the end of our phone conversation the agent said the word "cat"

I am now wondering if he is like everyone, you say "Eliminator" and they think cat.

he probably thinks you have a daytona. that sounds high for a v that size. Could just be your record or area, or no layup but double check that he knows its a 28 eliminator eagle V NOT Daytona cat. i dont think most agents know anything about boats, or bikes for that matter. which coincidently are the 2 things i dont have insured.
