I just don't get it !! back in the early 70's they were sitting in line at the pumps giving a limit on purchasing gasloine at 85 cents a gallon because of shortages. The scare was on.
Now its reason after reasons, excuse after excuses.
I don't buy it.These prices per gallon needs to level off and help put confidence back in the way we enjoy our sport. This is danger zone now.
Today (05/22/08) Its $135 dollars a barrel.
Its bustin my wallet chain.

Do you think that they will make you share your boat? Or will they outlaw it altogether?
If they can make cars ration.... they can deny pleasure craft completely.

Every time the tank wagon drops a load, it comes with the newest price. Always been that way, nowadays we just get to see it more often and in bigger steps.

I went from Monroe to Ann Arbor at 10am and the pumps said 3.99. An hour later on the way back they were 4.14.
I am assuming that on the way home they will be 4.24, and by morning tomorrow 4.39.

I'm considering purchasing a rack. As an owner you buy fuel at cost. It is still higher than on the street because they don't have the volume but cheaper than the marina.
