Curtis-
I had it painted in Fort Worth at an aircraft shop and they did an OK job.
What downtown run?
Rob-
I was going to weigh it, but ran out of time. It's probably relatively heavy because the boat is cored (using composites only): double core on the bottom and has beefy side coring (bought it to stay in one piece and to handle our rough water)
.
Thanks for the kudos

what day were you out? I was up that way from Galveston meeting for job interviews on friday. I drove down by but only saw a cigarette top gun out. Do you keep your boat locked up or just out in a sling? I drove by back there but I think the door was shut, a few cars back there, do you drive a red ford dually? I'd like to get some pictures of you out.

No Ford Dually.
We got it wet on Sunday afternoon, then went for a brief shake-down. I'll try to PM you when we take it out again.
We (Texas Motor Speedway) have the NASCAR Truck/Busch/ Cup the first weekend in April and my wife's with a CPA firm, so there isn't much time for boating until after the 15th of April
