I've deleted the original Jag-project thread: most of the "hard" work is complete. New progress photos will be posted as they occur. If you have any specific questions, email me. I have lots of photos in my files.
Thanks
Due
PS:This is the ex-Gifford Marine Jaguar being converted to pleasure use. The hull was custom-built by Jack Clark at Jaguar Marine (www.jaguarmarine.com) for Bill Gifford. In addition to running the offshore circuit (it was 1992 Points Champion), Gifford had planned to use this boat to set the record from New York to Miami.
Thanks

Hey Ernie-
I'm ready for new photos: bored with the old. If you want any of these (and more), there are a plethora in "storage". I'd be happy to make a CD for you.
After the boat is complete, I can repost some of the old photos again.

Hey John how is it going?
Part two!! Is that a good thing meaning lots of progress and new pictures or a bad thing meaning things are starting to drag and you want a new start?
Amazing how these little projects take on a life of their own isn't it?

Hi Mike-
Things are generally good; I guess that's why it's part 2. You're right tho, the projects have a life of their own.
It felt great getting all of the hatches made and, to me, that's the last of the difficult parts.
How's yours coming?

Paint estimates:
1. Seaport: All white (AwlCraft 2000): includes bottom, tunnel, sides, deck, and interior of the cockpit.
2. Custom Touch Graphics: Base coat white with blue graphics, plus clear coat (Sikkens): includes sides and deck only.
There is a significant difference in cost, with #2 being more.
Care to guess?
