wondering what the trade market is on a twin 525/ bravoxr black thunder460sc with trailer to take on trade. are they selling good and is 70mph about right on this boat. NADA shows low retail at 208,000 I assume trade would be in the 180k range. , will the bravos hold up on such a heavy boat, heard they blow xr's regularly.thanks

Low wholesale would be $150 to $175 range. Unless you wholesale it out you will have it for a while. Call BT and see what they would give you for it. If you hammer the XR's they will give out. Joe Murray

Thanks guys, but I have to agree with Delo, a 42 cig and 46 BT, totally different boat, not close on weight cg and torque required to get on plane, BT does'nt want anything to do with trades, 150-175k seems low but maybe that is all they are worth, I know they have a bad wrap of late, but they are nice looking boats, just out of balance . msrp is still 400k new but like all others they take a terrible hit the first 2 years..I have been told 68-70 mph is max on the 525 boat

They are not out of balance. Just like any boat with 525's if you hammer the throttles coming out of the hole they will not handle the power. Yes they are heavy (14,00) but the average driver who eases on plane will not see the drive failures.
As far as trade in call Shogren and ask what the trade in value they gave on a 46. Wiggler as you should know the trade in value will rise with the price of the boat they are buying. Shogren just took one in trade for a 48 fountain express cruiser.
Retail on the boat depends alot on the year and how many hours. They are still selling between 225 - 279 for a 2004.
