I have an airdock. Don't have a boat. 
I really liked it. If your boat will float, so will the airdock.
I am selling mine. D-2 unit. Good for boats up to 30ft.

Check the Maine/Craigslist.org there's a cantilevered hoist for a 18' boat on there for $1200. If that style would work for you.
