I might have to rebuilt my carbs for my 454s, so instead of doing that i'm just going to buy a new set. Can yall advise what are the best carbs to get. What carbs would give me the most hp and mph. I have a set of 650s would they fit ? Thanks inadvance

I have been running the Barry Grant Demon carbs for the past 3 years without a problem....your 650's would work but are probably a little too small.... a set of 750's would be better...are you running stock 454's?....Fred

yea there stock Merc 400 serious. I'm looking for carbs that will give me the MOST hp out of these engines.

if your 454's are stock then the 650's will work fine. If you want I can give you hand rebuilding them and you can save some $$ Frank and Albert have my #. Angel
