Out of my bike!! 4 th stage of boost, c-16 race gas and a whole lotta guts...... I had the bike built by the Motorhead in Cleveland and it was just delivered last night. When this bike comes on the boost it is unreal, even at 6psi!! 1st stage on pump gas is 240hp, 2nd stage happens by hitting the horn button and that bumps the boost up and the HP to around 340, 3rd stage (race gas) is engaged by turning on the high beam and then we are talking 430hp and for the grand finale.... high beam on and horn button depressed equals 520hp!!(race gas) These are real dyno numbers at the back tire. It is an MCXpress stage three kit with custom intercooler, anderson boost controlled diaphragm clutch, billet everything, extended swingarm, etc.... It runs 8:80's at 190 foot shifting and picks up 50 of those mph in the second half!! It is geared to do 260 and the sister bike ran 246 at bonneville. The builder says on asphalt at full tilt it will run 250...... but not with me on it!!!! I was given stern warnings about full boost though.... in his words "if you are running 160 and twist it wide open at 4th stage it will flip over before you can correct". Doesnt sound fun. For now I will stay at 1st stage!!! After seeing Ballistic with turbos I had to join the fun!!!!

I had a friend with a similar setup on a ZX12. I still have the friend but the bike has seen better days.

Full leathers, boots, gloves, helmet are a must but anyone with a 520HP bike already knows that. Have fun, keep the shiney side up.

you need to bring it over to our bike night we have every Thursday in Casselberry.... Its right around the corner from my house, and anywhere from 300-600 bikes can show up on a night..... Champions yamaha as well as other vendors are always there as well...

Can the tranny and all the other drivetrain stuff handle 520 ? Seems a bit much.. Good luck with it and for christ sake stay in stage 1-2 :drink:

The internals are extremely overbuilt. The tranny has backcut treated gears, the top 2 gears are custom made overdrive gears, the output shaft is billet, billet countershaft cover, aftermarket clutch assembly with boost controlled lockup....its built to take 700hp.

I have several friends with seriously built turbo busa's .come on 520 ? lets see the dyno sheet.I have seen 410 with probably a 20 k motor.

hmmm, interesting piece of engineering but given the fact that motoGP guys have a very hard time putting approx. 220 to 240hp. to some pretty smooth tarmac with some pretty sticky rubber and with some pretty expensive ohlins suspension gear, forgive me for asking why you would ever need 520hp ? unless you're shooting for some sort of a speed record on a salt lake, in terms of acceleration i think you gained more with that longer swingarm than with the entire engine preparation...










... on the other hand, 520hp does sound pretty cool.

what engine mods did you do? what is remarkable is that you're peaking out relatively low in the RPM range, around 8500 and hitting max torque at around 8000. i always thought it would be closer to 10 000.
