Thanks but both of those companys want more than list for the raft, the model i was looking at is a 60SLCC

All I can say is that if you do ocean boating and you need that liferaft just one time, it's worth it's weight in gold. I would not worry about the price, if you need it---it's PRICELESS

Besides, you can tred water for a long time, I've seen you at the sand bar in Havasu

Don't forget to look into an EPIRB and a hand held VHF for emergencies. An EPIRB with GPS capablities is best, but $$$$.
