liferaft question

I was checking into getting a small life raft to carry in the boat so i called winslow and the 6 person offshore one is $2700. :(

That is a lot of money unless you need it and then it worth a lot more. just hard to justify spending that kind of money.
One of the guys who works for me then asked. so how much did you spend on the stereo and intercom. F in smartass, so does anone have a hookup on life rafts?

While I don't have any contacts in the industry, if you do decide to buy one remember to have it inspected by the manufacturer at regular intervals. You would hate to have use it only to find that the rubber has deteriorated and seams split, or the inflation cartridge is empty. The manufacturer will test it, inflate it, inspect it, recertify it, and repack it.

The purchase may be hard to justify now, but the first time it saves the lives of family and friends the cost won't seem so bad.
