Yeah, seemed like it. I have fished from both. It has been a long time since I fished off the Baja. Coincidentally the Baja I fished from many years ago is the same one I will most likely purchase. The seller is a long time family friend and has maintained the boat to perfection. He is looking to move up in boat. I can probably buy it for about the same price as most of the Scarab's I have looked at. The down side is most of the Scarab's have had new motors put on and this still has the 1990 Yamaha's. I would look to purchase a pair of new one's through CCA within a couple of years. If nothing else just the fuel savings makes me want to upgrade.

I know it will be a much better boat for diving than a typical performance boat. It won't have the rumble that I would love. But, it would be much more practical for an all around boat.

The Scarab Sport seems to be real popular at Shell Island. I did see some pretty clean one's.

What kind of fuel difference should I expect between a couple of carbed yami's vs a single big block in about a 27' Donzi or Formula?
