Hate Sea Doos, hate to ask here ,but my wife's best friend just bought an 04 RXP with 30 hours on it. The oil light came on,she dumped maybe a quart and a half of 2 cycle Yamaha oil in it,then realized it is a 4-stroke. Her husband is in a panic, wants to drain it out and refill with 4 stroke oil, they want my advice, but I haven't messed with PWC's in years. My gut feeling is it will be OK,what do yall think?

Definitely drain it. You should only use the XPS II 4-stroke Bombardier oil in that ski. If she didn't run it with the 2-stroke oil you should be OK. If she did, I'd take it to a dealer...

Actually they just call it XP-S 4-stroke Mineral Oil now. Here's the link from Sea-Doo's site:

But be sure to ask the parts / service guy just to make sure...
