Another copy of the old 40 was the "Offshore" built by Joe Debellous and Pete Van Kirk. The boat was 42, but had a 10' beam... Then the molds became the Marathon... then they were then leased to Don Smith of Ocean Smith Powerboats for his 42' center console with the pocket drives...

Those were Joes molds seperate deal ,Had nothing to do with Codomo and Marathon he BTW started the triples ,if two can't push it hell put in a third engine.

From what i can find out about my little cat it was built by INNOVATION MARINE INC in the mid 80's the owners name of the company was MICHAEL DRURY

I have some old pictures that I took as a teenager at the Pt. Pleasant NJ race of Longshot. Good thing I am not a photographer.
Longshot won that race, I cannot remember what year it was.
