Too much different in the deck.
It is a 40'(40',5") for cruising builted maybe in the same year of the firsts 40' race boat.
B.T. Thanks for helping me sort this one out. Here are a couple more pics.. The engine rm. pic isn't so great, but the dam hatch was heavy with one arm holding. It sure is some old race rigging with fuel tanks, twin turbo'd bbc's etc.
The salt air sure has done a job on her though.
Here is the Hull I.D. pic. also.

Donzi. If your decoding is correct(I don't know the I.D systems of Cigarette)it exclude that was the former "Bounty Hunter" and the "Sunoco DX-CAM2",because they just exist before.
It can be the former US-1-UFOII-Limit Up but it's went in England.
The last knew,"Slingshot" went in Australia.....

Marco....this is a Perfomer, built by Bill Elswicks company.

I took that photo.

That boat was built as the Miami Boat Show boat for Performer and it had 3 engines.

Performer! This phantomatic copy of Cigarette factory was of Bill Elswick at least!
I remember the "Night Moves" and the publicity of this Performer said was a 36'....with the appearances of a Cig. 40' but with a different "wheel house".
Now this fast cruise version but however the same appearance that the same of the Cigarettes.....
Can you help me to know something more of Performer?

The boat right behind the 40 is a 38 Bertram "49er", the first Bertram made of "Kevlar 49. The brown Production boat in the background is "Boogie Bear", a 30 Corsa.

Anybody know if Al Copeland ever raced a 40' cigarette built in 1980 with kevlar hull named Popeye's with a quite different "round" deck? If so is there any pics out there?
