KAAMA here...reporting in. I have been prepping the boat for summer. For the last few weeks, I have just gotten my carbs back for a rebuild, switched to cooler running thermostats, fixed hatch hinge.
Also, just replaced the starter on the port engine last night---boy was that ever fun!
I still have to change out the spark plugs yet which is pretty easy on an Active Thunder. Might try for the water on weekend of June 17th or so down in St. Joe.
By the way, "Tinkerer" is getting his boat ready for the water this year after sitting out of last year's season. He says he will be coming up to Grand Traverse area this year a few times for a change.
Crazyhorse, has got one engine running and ready to go and the other he's just getting the heads on----it will probably be the end of June for him I would guess. At least he has a truck and new trailer to pull the boat up to Grand Traverse Bay, Lake Charleviox, and Elk Rapids area. The same goes for BGIII and his 34' Saber.
Doug (38' Cover Girl Top Gun) is just getting his drives back from TNT and will be hauling up to Traverse City area this year a few times as well.
So, I am trying to rally the troops to tow their boats up north this year---and get us a convoy goin' on.
