Hey guys who;s boating? I made the painful desion to sit this season out becouse fo the new baby due in 22 days and all.I;ve been watchin the ramp and keeepin myyy ears open but its pretty quiet around lake mack....I,ve seen Rabuctios Rob a few Saturdays but nobody else....where is Kaama,Crazyhorse,Foul,Gadets,Tink????Is it too cool for you guys yet or are you still wrenchin???Tell me what its like out there give a landlubber some news... :D

Sit the season out....because of a baby?? That makes no sense at all....are you having this baby??? I have been out about 5 times now and have 12 hours this season, the water is very cold but it has been calm so I have been taking advantage of it. I did not know you were having another child so soon, you never told me. So what is the boat doing, just sitting there? I am sure you can find a time to get out there, if you have 22 days there is no reason to not go for a ride, take your daughter or something, just get out there.

I took a little spin from Holland to Saugaytuk Monday night to make sure my new MSD ignition was performing correctly. It ran so good I never even put a timing light to it....but should anyway. The big Lake was so calm it looked like a big blob of honey out to the west. Strange looking!

Hey Don, I need all those condoms for Hanky Panky :D I will keep calling you and if you want to take the boat out I will spring for fuel...seriously. My boat does not use fuel so i have some money to spare :D Hey Shawna, what are you running, I was out both days in a 21ft Zodiac with 2 dogs, it is gray with a 115 Yamaha on it. Let me know and i can look for you. I live on the N side of Holland, about 1/4 mile from the DNR launch, close to Don....although you would not know that since I never see him.....so Don, lets plan a day, I will sink $100 into fuel, that should get us to GH and back. I am serious as a heart attach so you better take me up on this. You cannot let the boat just sit, I will FILL the tank if you let me take it to the UP :D Otherwise the hundo is real and we need to get the condensation out of the motors.....we HAVE to.

Been out a few times. Boat is sitting in the Marina right now. Had a couple great weekends :D
Concratulations on the new addition. Put the boat in the water at least a couple times to keep the cobb-webs out.

The cylinder head goes back on the Donzi this week so hopefully I'll be back on the water by this weekend. If you see an 18 classic with navy blue stripes and the name "Hard Candy" on the side wave me down. I'd love to meet some of the local OSO crew. I keep the boat on a trailer at Macatawa Bay Yacht Club and boat out of Holland.

Hey Tamburello, I think we are almost neighbors. Do you live on 60th St.? I thought I saw that Donzi there. I live at the very west end of 146th, just before you turn to go into Castle Park. I like your boat if it's the one I'm thinking of.

I am a bit south of you all. Do most of my boating in the St.Joe and South Haven areas. Think we will have to make some runs up to Holland or Grand Haven this year though.

Any of you going to be around for the Venetian Festival July 13-16? If so look for the purple and yellow Baja.

Memorial weekend was busy but then temp went back down.... drops about 15 at the light. Been down to Saug/SHaven/Psheldon a few times but not much activity.

Yeah that was some smooth water on Mon. Working up on LSD and have seen a few Cats runnin it out... think one was Ruthless. Canopied one on Tues. - prob. Skater shake test.

Jeff - you still shopping ? I'm still a one boat guy till I sell a house - thought the market was flat and then that JCI news.... Did you pass on that Squadron 28?

Hey Todd - hows that Gun run? I see you have already made contact with Marine Patrol :evilb: Post some pics please - have only seen the ones Lipship had.

I will miss GH this summer! :(
We had to switch gears with the kids.
We sold the AT to a nice gent up in Petoskey.
Bought a 22ft Cobalt to take the kids skiing and tubing.
We will be heading to Crystal Lake by Frankfort for two extended weekends and Charlevoix for two separate weeks.

Maybe will get a chance to take a day trip to GH in late August when the water warms up a bit.

I've been out 3 times in Grand Haven thus far, last Thurs, Friday, and Sunday. I lost a flapper out of one of my tailpipes, waiting to replace for the weekend. Currently breaking in the outdrive after Dick went through it a month ago. So far, so good. Looking forward to seeing you guys - might head out to lake mack next week.

That was my boat that you spotted. I had it parked at my dad's house on 60th before and after I took it down to Kentucky in may for a Donzi meet. I've seen your Pantera a couple of times, that's a sweet ride!

Joe -

I'm always shopping. I was very tempted by the 27 Squadron but I have to support my wife's hobby, she's into horses, and adding a second boat isn't in the cards right now. And we complain about boating being expensive, horses can make boating look cheap. I'll find another squadron someday.

the cig is a 92. pretty mild for a lipship, 550 carolinas. white w/blue,teal,yellow and orange strips. cigarette euro racing on deck and port hull side. we will be up your way in mid july.

Was out in Grand Haven all Sat, Sun and Mon Memorial weekend. still working out minor first run of the year quirks. Replaced a starter gear this week (bottom bolt fell out) fixed thermostat leak, and power steering leak. besides that boat ran flawlessly. Anyone ever want to get together i'm always in GH.
