Boy, did that change!!
Last I knew Alberto was still a low grade tropical storm. Now it's packing 70 MPH winds. One step way from hurricane status.

Sorry guys. I hope it doesn't doo too much damage where ever it makes landfall.

Yep, 70 sustained now, it should be a hurricane by landfall.
Nice Southwesterly wind right through tampa bay - not good.

High tide is around 2pm in the bay where I live. With this wind water is starting to stack up in my canal. gotta go raise the boat up some.

I hope not! We've had enough rain for a while.

So far NOAA.gov and weather.com say sunny and 80* for Friday and Saturday.

Anyway, hope the storm doesn't gain anymore strength.

Me too, Fund.

Like Mike said, the wind won't be bad, nor the rain -- it's the tidal surge that worries me most, and it doesn't take much to bring it up a few feet.
