My cousin is in the process of moving down that way. I will be pulling the boat down a few times this summer.

WOW, I thought the overwhelming response would be Miami / Ft. Lauderdale. Good to see Tampa though, I've been meaning to get over there and look around.

Personally I love living in St. Petersburg, It seems a lot more laid back than East Coast South FL but you cant knock the boating down there.

If you like the east coast and want to be able to take a nice boat or car trip to the Lauderdale or Miami area I like the Port St. Lucie and south to Jupiter, Juno, Palm Beach and Boynton Beach area but no further south than that and it's like you are in another very crowded country.

On the west coast besides the Tampa area I love it down in Ft. Myers to Naples area.

I really liked the St Pete area. Port Charlotte was a good time too, but thats been awhile ago.

Panama City is ok, but nothing close to St Pete.

I could care less if I ever went back to Orlando.
