Why the DEADLINE ???

Does that go for the races too ?

You would think with the attendance at recent events, they would allow anyone to sign up even the day before....

So I'm gussing that you have to have a SBI race boat to participate in the kilo run. Which would eliminate Speed Racer, since its a PLEASURE boat. PLus which supercats are attending that race? probably none, since most are racing OSS. I think ill schedule a kilo run in my backyard where no body will attend and then claim my nor-tech to be the fastest boat on the water since no body challenged me.

Why not ?

Isn't that similar to how we now have the Super Vee Unlimited World Champion ?

Where does it say that? Not anywhere that I read.

as far as the deadline for the kilo registration, if you are gonna try and run with the Cat Killer, I would sure thing you would know it 2 weeks before the event, not 2 hours.

Seems to me they kept it open last year for another boat company that never ran

Does anyone remember Reggie taking out full page ads in magazines touting his new partnership with Randy Scism. Fountain/Scism cats were to be marketed to the public. That's right, Elvis was putting his boat name on an MTI to get into the cat game.
If you can't beat um, join um, if you can't join um, make up lies about moping up on everyone at a non sanctioned "race".

BTW My 2-year old knows what No-Wake buoys are for
