again I agree there is nothing wrong with advertising your products top speed, BUT for him to say it about a poker run is reckless, ESPECIALLY after what happened last year at SOTW, personally i dont care if his boats are the first to do 200 in a V, just keep it away from a public event that could theoretically harm the future of poker runs...god forbid something does happen at a poker run in the near future, he WILL come under scrutiny... I'm also quite sure that he isnt the first nor the last that will make comments that may eventually need to be addressed.
Again we agree, we are part of the boating scene, we know that this happens, but look at how much the industry had to speak up last year to protect the image. There is nothing wrong with it, but to gloat to a major publication is what the problem is.

this is another great point, of course we would all rather ride next to a professional, but of all the boats in the run, what percentage are professional drivers? So again, even though we all accept the fast boats running, how professional was it? experiance motorcycle riders get taken out every day by the experiance car driver that make a bad decision. all it would take is one of those"idiots" doing something wrong.

i guess you havent read they also got rid of that class all together in SBI, so those rules dont really apply now do they?
