Default Electric thrust motors

I am looking to buy a 12 ft aluminum boat for my local creek that only allows electric motors, paddles and sailboats . What is the biggest thrust motors you can get and or maybe mount two motors on it?

Ike, check this site out. I believe 60 lbs of thrust equals 1 hp.

or a little bigger, do they allow diesel generators?

or for some more hybrid marine power

might be a bit much for a 12' boat though.
