Mike,... I did buy the one of Ebay. I did an off-line deal and think I got a great boat for the money. The owner seems like a very solid guy..... I need to get a trailer purchased... I know of a manufacture in DE,... that's where the boat is at.

Check this thread for some info...
your boat was mentioned here too.
I was also just reading in another thread of some 383 small blocks that bam has for sale. could be a good package.

Thanks for all the great info guys. I was a bit leary about buying this boat, but from what I have heard sounds like shes a good one! So Litespeed....there were 280's in there huh. SBC's...Should I just build a couple of hot 383's for her? The guy I bought it from thought it may have been set up for BB's...? Hmmmm

You asked in the other thread if a Mirage was a better boat than a cig or magnum. I've had all three, and raced all three brands. I believe they are all built very well. If you look at a 28 cig ss next to a 10 meter mirage they look almost the same. The mirage is a little larger all the way around.

Best of luck with it. I have been out in often when Arnie Jr owned. it ran about 65 mph with the stock 280,s & trs drives. Great ocean boat !
The centers for drives when it was new I believe were cut on 32 inches for the small blocks.
