I had a 79 with 280 TRS,bought it from Steve Johnson I think was his name,at the time, maybe 85,he owned Eagle boat trailers. Great boat,it was well set up and the motors were slightly built up,ran 73 I think,it was faster than two other 29s in town with big blocks. If I can find the pics I will post them.Classic boat with Cigarette like lines and build quality, you should have fun with it. Dave B

29mirage.... Thanks for the pics. I like the staggered engine conversion. Are your drives on 32" centers?

Well I must say im knew to the website.... but I can assure you if there is one boat I know everything about it will have to be EVERY SINGLE MIRAGE BOAT built in the late 70's and early 80's, the reason being that the man that owned and built MIRAGE BOATS is my Father. On that note I must say it is an excellent boat!!!

Welcome to OSO!
Very nice boats - It's inline for what I'm shopping for, classic old school!!
Your Dad built a helluva boat - and now you owe us picture's of the old day's - you may want to take it to the "Classic Offshore" thread - that's where us die-hards hang out (now that we have it
