They have been recalled by the manufacturer. Someone died on one. Several people have been seriously injured.

The new lawn darts I guess. :eek:

I believe I have seen the video of the picture above... it was a nasty fall and the guy was seriously injured.

There has been at least one death associated with these tubes. CigDaze is correct, the manufacturer has recalled them... the question is, will that stop anyone from using them???

I saw one for sale at one of our local water sports stores up at the lake and in the window on the bottom of the tube where you look through when you're up in the air the warning label reads "Never fly higher then you are willing to fall". I had to laugh as that about sums it up! Think this guys had that on the tube!? :rolleyes:

Just read in the newspaper that two people have died and they have been banned on several lakes.Buddy of mine just bought one and has some very young kids,I warned him heavily about speed and wind direction affects.

I have a 1990 Pairsail that we used to use, these guys could just use it get 200' and just cut loose :eek: same effect!! Their nutz. The reason we stopped using our parasail is that we felt too much liability.

I mean seriously if someone gets hurt/killed who are they going to sue not themselves, it will be the boat driver/owner/and the company who made it. It not their fault that their dumb :rolleyes:

I wondered that too. The guy looks WAY higher than the tube, even if the rope was completely vertical.
