OMG!!

Saw one of those tubes in action a couple weeks ago and none of us could believe how high they go...

Holy chit! That dudes going to have one hell of a splash down!

A guy in our cove has one. You can get pretty high with very little speed. This guy was probably haulin ass trying to push the limit. He got owned.

That's going to HURT!

Thanks for the Tuesday morning laugh! Don't get me wrong, I'm not laughing @ someone getting hurt or anything, it just looks hilarious. Sorry to hear this guy got hurt!

Landing in water will start cleaning the mess in his pants at least!

I bet that the driver didn't have much experience towing a kite tube. I've pulled a manta ray (Quite a blast) and had to be extremely careful about my speed, wind direction and taking a turn. A few of my friends went for a swim but nothing compare to this crash.

They are starting to ban and recall those tubes because too many people are getting hurt. My friend has one and at 30 mph he has been as high as 25 feet above the water. He has also had some serious crashes, but says it is a blast. To do it safely you need a combination of good rider and good boat driver to keep it in control. He said one time a guy had one and doubled the rope length and was as high as 60 feet, but then the lake patrol shut him down. I would hate to fall from 60 feet and hit that water !!! Guy sounds like a darwin candidate !!!!

And that's precisely why they're banned now. Too many dead and injured.
