I'd be surprised if it's a photochop. I've seen those kite tubes go super high really fast. Wouldn't be surprised at all if it just tossed him.

A couple of weeks ago there was a wake-boat full of college age kids riding one of those. We saw a girl go up on it about 12 feet or so, it then did a barrel roll and slammed her into the water. We then saw them pulling her out of the water by her life jacket and speeding off toward the marina they came from. I just hope she was ok, it was a brutal crash.
