I would like to stand up and present the idea to Ban Swimming ..there were three deaths this year from people swimming off the back of a stationary boat.. This activity should be banned

I was told by the organizers of our side to just show up and be present. It is really important that we have a strong showing in numbers .Hope to see you there.

Being present will mean as much as anything. They have been pushing the Hartman death from years ago as a support point in the paper, which we all know has no relevance. As I understand, the proposal was written by the guy who represents the Lakes Association, which hates anything other than wind or human power. I am sure that one of the supporters will bring up something about poker run accidents over the past year. I have prepared responses for these issues.

Was hoping to hit the broads on Saturday if the rain holds out.

How did the meeting go?

We had a fairly good turn out. It will be interesting to see how things are portrayed in the media. It was the same old rhetoric from the supporters. They are probably saying the same about us though.

I should be out there on Saturday afternoon, and Sunday. Will probably be the last weekend for me.
