we put an imco 2" shorty on a 25 daytona with a 600 sc.it picked up 5 to 6 mph.on a 35 fountain with 700's we gained a solid 5 mph.i sold two to a guy with a 28 eliminator,he said he got 7 mph.we just put one on another 25 daytona,we will test that as soon as the water gets soft again.i sent oane to arkansas last week for a 25 daytona,he is going to test that in a couple of weeks.

Hey Rick,
We did not mess with the shorter housings. Pete at Skater cut the X Dimension perfect.

Goodfella, That's great on the 575 skater. What prop and drive ratio did you end up with and rpm to go 126mph. Extreme's 32 in powerboat used 2" shorter and 1.26 and 39" props and has gone 128mph.

Donnie..What kind of boat did you run 106 MPH with? Cat or V. You said that you ran it for 25 hrs. Is that stock or did you modify it? Thanks for the Info.

Cattitude,
It is a 1996 single step hull. The x dim.on it was about 3 to 4 inch to low.I think I would get another couple of mph if the x was just another inch or to higher.Maybe imco will come out with a three inch shrotie soon.
